Part Time Corporate Fundraiser
Based in Greater Manchester
Due to the generosity of Duchenne Now’s business sponsorship we are advertising for a part-time corporate and grant fundraiser based in Greater Manchester to work alongside Esther to help us raise much needed research funding, this person will also help out at family events when required.
This position comes at absolutely no cost to members or our supporters, the wage and bonus scheme will be paid for by our business partner, meaning 100% of all donations, corporate or not will still go towards treating ALL with Duchenne. The Trustees would also like to emphasise any bonus scheme will be linked to corporate funds and grants only, our corporate friends can also be assured that their donations will not be used to fund anything other than research into Duchenne.
Duchenne Now does not believe in setting targets for families and supporters who work tirelessly on behalf of people living with Duchenne, especially in these very difficult times, we appreciate every single donation large or small. As trustees we understand parents don’t appreciate being targeted by people with annual targets to meet.
The successful applicant MUST have experience and a proven track record in corporate fundraising and experience in grant applications would be an advantage.

To work with corporate partners, the Duchenne community and the general public to raise funds and awareness for Duchenne Now.
To identify potential corporate partners including Charity of the Year, company charity challenges, GAYE. Build an effective and productive working relationship with corporate partners.
Work to ensure that corporate supporters find supporting Duchenne Now to be a positive and rewarding experience.
Build, nurture and maintain relationships within the Duchenne community including.
Market, support and assist national community events and fundraising initiative.
Implement, plan and deliver national fundraising concepts.
You will be directly responsible to the board of Trustees and your direct line manager will be the Chair of Duchenne Now.
You will initially start on £12,500 but will have the opportunity to:
Through Corporate fundraising targets set by the board there is an opportunity to substantially increase your earning potential if met, details will be discussed at interview stage should you be successful. The successful applicant will also have the opportunity should the board agree to possibly increase the working week and hours.
